What is Ramal in Hajj?
Tawaf e Kaaba is one of the obligatory steps of Hajj. In Tawaf e Kaaba, pilgrims are required to take seven rounds of Khana Kaaba in counter clockwise direction.
In Seven rounds, only male pilgrims are required to take the first three rounds in outer circle of the crowd at a hurried pace and the remaining Four rounds at normal pace near the Kaaba. The first three hurried rounds are Sunnah and they are called Ramal.
