Badshahi Mosque also known as Emperor Mosque is located in Lahore, Punjab province of Pakistan. It was built by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1673. It is the second largest Mosque of Pakistan with a capacity of 56,000 worshipers. The architect of Badshahi Mosque was Nawab Zain Yar Jhang Bahadur.
2 Faisal Mosque, Islamabad
It is the largest and national Mosque of Pakistan. It was built in 1986 (1976-1986) with a capacity of 74,000 worshipers. As the construction of the Masjid was funded by King Shah Faisal, therefore it bears his name. Design of Faisal Mosque was prepared by a Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay.
