Coronavirus is a virus. It belongs to a group of viruses that contains RNA (Ribo Nucleic Acid) as its genetic material. The virus causes disease in birds and mammals.
In human beings it causes respiratory tract infection that can range from mild to lethal level. In mild case it causes common cold while in lethal level it can cause Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and COVID 19.
